Statistics somehow seem to set reality against the political theories being bandied about, No ?

Please tell me you're not generalizing information specific to convicted criminals to apply to all undocumented immigrants?

The "political theory being bandied about" (by the GOP) is that Obama isn't doing anything about illegal immigration and that he's in favor of amnesty for all illegals.
Of course the facts show that to be wrong.
The major policy change is to re-prioritize deportation so that criminals who have served sentences are deported first, and people living in the US without committing crime (other than immigration status) are hassled less. Deportation of criminals is up over 80%. I'm sure the GOP will find a way to spin that as a negative to the Obama administration.

If you're wondering why people think the GOP is "bad" to illegal immigrants, then take a look at the recent backwards, racist, self-defeating state laws regarding immigration, such as those passed by Republican legislatures in Arizona and Alabama. That has nothing to do with federal policy, in fact the Obama administration opposes those laws.

I'm surprised to see cbelt doling out this Scheiße unless he's being facetious, or mocking the posting style of another forum member, and I'm just not picking up on it.

The Department of Homeland Security said it will also no longer focus its limited resources on apprehending and deporting non-criminals, including young people brought to the country illegally by their parents, military veterans and the spouses of active-duty troops.
“It makes no sense to spend our enforcement resources on these low-priority cases when they could be used with more impact on others, including individuals who have been convicted of serious crimes,” Cecilia Munoz, the administration's director of intergovernmental affairs, wrote in a White House blog post.
“This means more immigration enforcement pressure where it counts the most, and less where it doesn’t," she said. "That’s the smartest way to follow the law while we stay focused on working with the Congress to fix it.”

some are unfortunately back faster than they were deported

Given the number of focus programs since 2001 and the maturation of the agency it's not surprising the numbers reflect some efficiency.

Republicans aren't bad toward illegals, in fact by and large it's Republican leaning folks who employ them. They have an appreciation for inexpensive labor.

PS: Badmouth isn't the same thing.

facetious. Keep in mind that "ALL" Illegal Immigrants are technically criminals, since it's a crime to enter the country illegally.

There are certainly no anti-union Democrat owned factories full of Guatemalans in Massachusetts.
