Wouldn't you stink anyway after biking in?

where do you live? What kind of weather and temps are you facing?
i do my best to convert from cyclist to ordinary office worker. i change and use wet wipes to wipe down. my hair isn't always at its best but i also have quite a bit of it. it also not so bad that it stands out. oh, i keep the wet wipes and jeans at work to minimize the weight i'm hauling around.

I just wear regular khaki pants and use pants clips so that I don't get chain marks on the cuff. No need for any special cycling pants unless you're riding 50 miles or so and need a chamois. People around the world commute regularly on bicycles in regular clothes.

live in Boston area, hilly terrain for biking so sweat is involved. slush on the ground now but that will be gone by tomorrow. I'm not a hard-core, diehard cyclist so rainy and snowy days will be car travel.

one thing that makes a big difference for me is poly/cotton blended underwear that wicks away moisture. it takes some hunting to find it at a good price. i last bought from hanes but i think they've discontinued the product. the material is frequently marketed as "coolmax"
