This is the stuff that makes me feel so dumb...

I shot some images on my phone that I need to send to my iMac via Bluetooth. Everything seems to go fine-the phone Sends the images to the iMac but where the hell are they? I can't find them...

If you're using a recent OS you should be able to search your hard drive for "today."

Sounds like you're "pushing" the images from the phone? You'd find the process much easier if you pulled them from the mac.

It's an HTC Incredible. It doesn't pull from the iMac. It seems I can only "push" from the HTC. But it says it's sending the image to the iMac.

Go to your bluetooth menu on the mac (should be in the top bar- if not go to system prefs and enable that) and then "browse device."

Uploading directly via BT is sooooo great-- do yourself a favor and figure it out.

Check the file sharing setup in your Bluetooth system preferences.

I think Black got it right - that's the way I do it from my POJ (piece of junque) Samsung phone... works pretty good.

Highly confusing. The phone says "paired but not connected". The iMac says paired and connected and ready to go but all I can do is send a file from the iMac but no option to receive a file from the phone. Again, the phone says it sent the file to the iMac.
OK, will try it again tomorrow. Too much screwing around. Thanx, all, for the help.

I think Gmailing 'em to yourself sounds like the easiest option...
