except MBA which doesn't have an optical drive, of course, what about the other Macs. Do they still come with optical disks or Apple switched to USB sticks or maybe the cloud?

so what if the HD (with restore partition) goes kaput?
Also, when Apple advertises a HD as 500 GB, how much of that is used by the restore partition?

I was asking if they also eliminated the optical discs with all their Macs. That's a different question. There may have been some threads about this, which I may have missed. |
