Is there a Mac app that would allow me to listen to local radio stations?

I don't have a radio - so I thought my Mac could somehow become one. Is it possible?

There was once the Griffin Shark, it was an antenna thing that plugged into USB and used an app to provide FM. Don't know that it's still around or that it was very successful.

A $10 radio from eBay would probably work best. Smile

why don't you check to see if any of your local radio stations streams their broadcast? Several around here apparently do.

Do you have an iPhone or iPad? The WunderRadio app allows streaming from tons of stations. There's also FlyCast. Of course, iTunes as quite a few streaming stations built into it as well. If you live in a big city you might be in luck.
