ou've got to be taught
To hate and fear,
You've got to be taught
From year to year,
It's got to be drummed
In your dear little ear
You've got to be carefully taught.

You've got to be taught to be afraid
Of people whose eyes are oddly made,
And people whose skin is a diff'rent shade,
You've got to be carefully taught.

You've got to be taught before it's too late,
Before you are six or seven or eight,
To hate all the people your relatives hate,
You've got to be carefully taught!

It hurt to read that. Even if you think there is something wrong with being a homosexual, how can you be a Christian - a religion supposedly of love - and not want the bullying of those kids to stop?

I only made it through the first couple pages, that was depressing. It sounds like you have a bunch of administrators and a school board with backbones of jelly hiding behind "But we have a policy!" It's one thing to have a policy, more important is how it is used.

There should be a special place in hell for the adults who caused all of this pain.

This is very sad. Any administration that fails to protect a child from reported abuse should be summarily fired. Coping with suicidal thoughts and dealing with abuse by peers should actually be a required class in high school. The it gets better campaign and the Trevor project exist to serve this need.

It's clear from the article that if you are not aggressively bullying gay children, you are promoting a gay agenda.

As the father of children who lost four classmates (three of whom were friends of theirs whom I had met) from MURDER-By-Bullying-To-Suicide that whole scenario continues to sicken me and anger me. And I speak out against it whenever I come in contact with it.

The adults who encourage these MURDERS should be arrested and punished for their participation.

That's horrid. There's no excuse for treating anyone that way. kj.
