To keep viewers Fox moves to the middle, conservatives aren't happy
#1
The coveted cable audience, people ages 24-54, is moving away from Fox News prime time .
Roger Aisles told his network to tone it down, get more "intellectual," and move towards the middle, which they have to some extent. Glenn Beck is gone, liberal and moderate voices are now sometimes heard on Fox News.

Tea Party is very unhappy.

Have they gotten rid of Bill O'Reilly yet? If that happens then we might start believing that they're serious.

Hate is a strong word my friend.
We all have our preferences when it comes to media sources.

It's still Fox. Still Murdoch. They are returning to their roots, more what Rupert Murdoch and Roger Aisles envisioned when the station launched back in the 90's, a media source to reflect a top-down, establishment GOP point of view. They lost control of that for a while with the Tea Party, they're just pulling in the reigns a bit.

Fox news must be doing something right if Grace62 and davester don't care for it.

I wouldn't expect that to happen, he's the golden goose.

If there are any O'Reilly fans here they can explain the appeal.

Is it the serial sexual harassment of coworkers, or is it the strategy of turning off the microphone of anybody who starts to win an argument with him that is the most appealing?

Yeah, let's not pick on a corporation which includes a company that had to shut down a newspaper because it was caught hacking into over 800 phones including that of a murdered girl. Obviously Murdoch is a man of wealth and taste.

But wait! There's more!

Hard to say. I thought it was the pathological lying or maybe the "Tiller the Baby Killer" series that had everyone so enthralled. Again, don't want to speak for his fans.
