I'm partial to pansies!

Been flowering since before Christmas all over the garden. These ones are by the back door.

Beautiful! I like them too. It amazes me how they can bloom when it is still cold - makes winter a tad more bearable for me.

I tend to think of them like I do impatiens...nice for a spot of colour when you need it but not as long term additions to a bed.
Having said that, yours look great!

I like the little ones. they used to grow wild around here. I don't know what happened to 'em.

When I was a little girl we were given a little pot of pansies, for planting at home, every Easter during Sunday School. I am inclined to like pansies regardless, but those Easter memories make them rather dear to my heart.
