The extensive photo gallery is almost like being there.

The screen looks like the monitor is failing. The black borders on the top and bottom are awfully fat.

I had one of those in about 1995 ... bought for the princely sum of $35, no box though. Smile Wife was ticked I brought it home, just to sit on a shelf.

So we've got two generations later (512ke) with most of the same stuff together, plus boxes and the like. Probably not quite the same league, but still kinda fun. I remember those manuals and the audio cassettes. I'm not sure the styrofoam is still with, though...

Oh my, memories. Paid $2,500 plus $500 for an Imagewriter, more $$$ for Multiplan and Pagemaker. If it hadn't been for the Mac I doubt my life would be so easy today. We stood out from the peecee crowd and as a result sold a fledgling business, and dropped out of the rat race very young in life.
