I keep getting invites to LinkedIn, mainly from people working for companies that were at conferences I've attended and dropped my business card in a bowl to win something.

I had to quit LinkedIn because I was beseiged by vendors looking to sell me printing. It was pointless.

Well, I'll be damned if I could find a way to prevent people I did not know from asking to Link Up. All I could find was how to make myself totally invisible or totally visible. I could not find any way to tweak settings to control who could see me. And life is too short to spend it all trying to figure out how to use a service I wasn't really interested in in the first place.
