96º at 11AM - what a joy...

I walked around the block when I got up today, but that's it - I'm hunkering down with a/c and my trusty air filter today...

Trying to get rid of the last bit of bronchitis and crummy air on days like this doesn't help.

Yes, it sure does suck today. I'm lucky to have the benefit of a brand new HVAC system that was installed last year.

I was outside spraying Roundup from 11:00-12:30. When I came in, I looked like someone had turned a hose on me. Gotta love the heat and the humidity. Sad

I used to really poo-poo you humidity whiners until I entered middle age... you're in GA right? I'll take my dry heat any day over what you guys go through...

Luckily we got 16% at the moment... rarely gets to 40% on hot days

Yep, in Georgia, the land of sweat. I have been in Vegas in mid July with 100°+ heat and felt fine. It really is the sweating from the humidity that kills me.

I left Hotlanta partly because of the heat and the fact that riding a bike there is a daily thrill ride. I do miss it. Well it's hot today by the bay so I know it's hot in Sac.

Late in the season, hot in Sac usually means fog and cold in the bay area.

Where I live, the fog rolls in pretty much year 'round. It'll be back mercifully tomorrow according to the news folk. Nature's Air Conditioning®.

Been 70 & 80's here in the SFV for weeks, I'm not complaining -- I do know what's coming.
