Best way to capture small meeting AV via MacBook Pro?
#1
I'd like to capture audio and video of a couple of meetings (small room, a few tables of people and one person leading the discussions) using a MacBook Pro and a Blue Mic (Yeti). What's the best/easiest software to use for this?

I guess iMovie will do the trick but are there better alternatives?

The meeting will be approximately 3 hours - video won't be all that important but the audio will be used to fill in any gaps in the recorded minutes.

Thanks in advance...

Three hours will take up a lot of space on your drive -figure at least 30GB to be safe.

New Quicktime will do it fine

Yeah, Apple says 13GB/hour...didn't realize QuickTime X did video, audio, and screen capture - good to know Big Grin

My Sony MiniDV cam is recognized as a video capture device when connected with firewire, allowing much more control over the video.
