OT: Premature explosification

As part of it celebration of US Independence Day, the Californian city of San Diego planned a 20-minute firework display launched from barges in the city's bay.

However, an unspecified glitch set off all the fireworks for the show at the same time, meaning thousands of spectators saw only an intense 15-second explosion.

Firework organisers apologised "for the brevity of the show and the technical difficulties".

Was at a friend's house on Mt. Soledad to see the "big show" - it actually looked kinda cool for a bit, like four giant light bulbs scattered around San Diego bay. Thankfully, the Sea World show went off without a hitch a half hour later...
