That's too bad. He had a lot of talent, and a knack for coming up with VERY popular shows.

Claydes Charles Smith of Kool & the Gang died on Tuesday, right here in my little town.

I was at a fun wedding that "Celebration"" played again and again at the party. Kool and the Gang were just that.

Not to be cruel, but might this signal the end to Tori's career or is that just wishful thinking?

I was an "Aaron Spelling" kid. He practically ran TV when I was a kid, though they all seem kind dopey and schmaltzy now. I'm sure Mr. Roarke was there to meet him when he arrived from 90210.

And Tori Spelling has a TV/Movie career? Guess I just don't watch enough TV anymore. Probably for the better.

Instead of giving her grief (yeah, I know she's not a reader here) feel a bit for the girl because she just lost her dad.

.I can feel bad her dad died and still hope she has to earn a living on her own merits someday.

I'd feel the same if Paris Hilton or Nicole Richie's dad passed away.
