Dems worst nightmare: Susana Martinez
#1
A Hispanic governor of New Mexico(Bill Richardson's kingdom) who is a woman AND a Republican AND proudly announces she loves her 357 Magnum. On top of that, she announced to all Democrats that they are probably Republican but they just don't know it. That is how she found out. Anybody wants to be the first to tear her apart?

My wife came in to tell me her story as presented to the convention (I don't watch such shit) and she couldn't stop laughing about the obviously bought and paid for hispanic woman the Republicans were billboarding.

She sat down with GOP operatives and made a deal to become governor, it's really that simple.

“‘Self-deport?’ What the heck does that mean?” Martinez said in an interview with Newsweek. “I have no doubt Hispanics have been alienated during this campaign. But now there’s an opportunity for Gov. Romney to have a sincere conversation about what we can do and why.”

Still waiting for that "sincere conversation" Governor?

She probably understands better than many why Romney is going to lose in November.

To "become" governor? In Bill Richardson's state? How do you "become" a governor anyway? This just proves you have no use for minorities who aren't your party's step ladder for white party bosses.

gotta love that anti-government reliance...

On May 15, 2012, Martinez declared the entire state of New Mexico to be in a drought. Martinez issued the formal drought declaration to help farmers, ranchers, and others secure federal drought funding. Martinez stated that in addition to "the work we’re doing at the state level to assist communities facing serious drought conditions, I’m hopeful this declaration will assist them in securing any available federal funding as well."

Gary Johnson was a two term REPUBLICAN governor of that state. It's not like NM is a liberal island.

The pattern of Republican governors having to clean up after Democrat governors in certifiably blue states is now well established

About as well established as your making up of 'facts'.

Damn, Dakota, would you please knock off the idiotic posts? Grow up. Go talk to your family. Get lost. And to the extent that you're trolling people to get them hacked off, you're a pathetic loser with no friends and no life.

The Governor gave a great speech. I have little doubt that she will be re-elected. I'm sure she convinced dozens of Hispanics and women to vote Republican.
