I think pretending the President was telling people to go eff themselves was super classy. Also, not combing his hair was a nice touch.

I'm a fan of Clint Eastwood's work and I admire him as a person. I didn't take any offense at his presentation. I look at him as a good American, patriotic in the true sense of the word, who will support whoever is president, until he thinks that president has screwed up. Agree with Clint or not about Obama screwing up, he's very far from being a hyper-partisan lunatic like Huckabee, for example.
And: He's 82 years old, the same age as my dad. He's slowing down. I'm not about to get on his case for being a little wobbly. And he's Clint fscking Eastwood - he doesn't have to comb his damn hair if he doesn't want to!

It was an embarrassing event. To spare the embarrassment and to perhaps make his appearance effective, he should have done an endorsement on film. A Hollywood legend fell to pieces unnecessarily.
