Just watching a couple episodes of "Dead Like Me"...

You know.. It really was quite a good series!
Little strange, sure.. But some good talent, and can't go wrong with Mandy Patinkin!

That was a fun series. A little creepy at times, but somewhat endearingly cute.

Back in the 70's I had the unique experience of seeing Mandy Patinkin play Che in the musical "Evita". He was amazing.

I enjoyed it quite a bit, but wondered if it ran it's course or if another couple of seasons would have kept the quality.

Very much enjoyed the show. Dark humor and good acting. It should have had a chance to run its course, but, there you go.

I guess we needed more reality shows and less TV shot in Vancouver.

Funny... I discovered this series recently, and have been watching an episode a night. I found it kind of strange and a little disturbing to begin with (the very unhappy family especially), but the show has really grown on me, and now that I'm getting close to the end I wish there were more than two seasons.

I really liked that one. I thought it avoided creepiness much better than "six feet under", which some thought was similar. Recent cancelled good shows I've enjoyed were The Unusuals and Life. I forget who here suggested LIfe, but I thank them, for the second time I think. kj.

Yep, an excellent series, and I miss it.

I actually find Mandy a bit annoying even though I recognize that he's a fine actor. He was great in "Dead Like Me." A very interesting show. I like Ellen Muth's crazy eyes.

I also enjoyed the show quite a bit. But. if you go by the follow-up movie, the show had run its course.

Perhaps that's not totally fair -- maybe they would have gotten more of the original cast back for a continuing TV series, as opposed to the movie. (For the movie, Rube was absent and Daisy recast)

I loved that show on NetFlix... It was "odd enough" and pretty much had a cult following that they didn't renew it. They kind of did a movie which pretty much sucked but helped end the show. But still odd.
