After sleeping on it a night, how do you feel about the new Apple products?

I am pondering if the quad mac mini will be faster than the mac pro 1,1 I am using now. I already have a monitor so I am not inclined to buy an iMac.

Other than that, nothing excites me but I do hope Apple makes tons of money this holiday season so the stock price can go up.

Speaking of iMac, will it have an i7 processor or not? I am not seeing it as an option. Is this being done on purpose so the Mac Pro waits for an update?

I'm excited about the Mini that I'm gonna buy for myself soon. Now for the big questions..
What Monitor will I buy ? I'm thinking a decent quality TV/Monitor,

And... WHAT will I do with the G4 sawtooth ? And the Cube ? Both will be... purposeless. Heck, I still have an iMac/DV/500 sitting in the basement. Fully functional.

The Cube is such a piece of techno-lust art, I'm loath to let it go. Set it up as a sexy 'digital picture frame' ?

Time to buy an iMac with a super drive before they are all gone.

I'm feeling pretty good about my 2011 iMac ebay score that I recently got. Even without USB 3 and a little extra speed, the 2011 is still much more attractive with the internal optical drive and upgradeable RAM.

pRICE, I traded in my Mac Pro 1,1 for a 2011 Mac Mini, and it has been great for me. I added an SSD boot drive and kept the stock drive as another internal, and added 16gb RAM. My guess is that with the speed bump and quad core options in the 2012 Mini, it would be well suited as a replacement for your Mac Pro...my 2011 mini is even faster than my old Mac Pro.

I was waiting for the retina 13" to replace my current 13" MBP. My wife's is out of AppleCare in December so I was going to give her mine and move to the retina. Alas, it's priced just a little too high for me. I was hoping for a 1499 starting point with at least a 256 flash drive.

The iPad mini is cool, but I'm still very happy with my iPad2.

So, probably won't be buying anything right now, but I hope everyone else does!
