Thousands on Medicare lose cancer treatments

The unintended consequences of sequester? In the mean time Obama can jet around pushing gun control or hosting lavish pop concerts while the old folks die. This not only affects Medicare it also falls on military vets under TriCare.

Yes, this is unfortunate and serious. Perhaps that will spur you to look into why the tea party refuses to negotiate and legislate instead of you spouting your usual childish nonsense regarding Obama's activities. In that same vein, pigs might fly.

Parties, campaigning, golfing trips.....all costing the taxpayers sick or well MONEY. He is using the gun thing to pay for his campaigning. taxpayers have to pay for a "business" trip. Then Bidens French fete is something else!

Dave, this Has nothing to do with me spouting anything. Why are you so interested in making this about me? You seem to have a swampy obsession.

Politicians, including your president, need to quit playing games.

Why do you make every topic, no matter how unrelated, about Obama. You seem to have an Obama obsession. Tell me, how do Obama's travel expenditures compare to those of Bush?

This topic doesn't seem to peak your interest, Dave, why don't you leave it. Or maybe you don't care what happens to cancer patients?

Once again: sequester cuts are not fungible. Obama couldn't take funds from programs you don't like and transfer them to programs you do like even if he was in agreement with you about the priorities. Added to that is the fact that the sequester does not uniformly affect all parts of the government with a 2.4% cut. 2.4% represents the sequester cuts from the total budget, but large chunks of the budget are exempt from any cuts so the remaining parts have much deeper cuts - often cuts in the 8% to 10% range.

It would be nice if you would keep this in mind when you are thinking of putting up a post about sequester cuts and want to suggest that Obama has his sequester cut priorities wrong.

Obama is pushing gun control-- therefore he must not be paying any attention to public health.

davester is calling swampy on dishonest BS- therefore he doesn't care about cancer patients.

I see how that works.
