Took a gamble and bought a Marshall mg100fx head at a garage sale that has the master gain knob missing and the shaft on that pot is also broken off. Can anyone recommend a good parts supplier?

I's suggest calling a local music store or musicians repair place.
The consumer parts places may not have an exact, unless that isn't of any concern. If you don't care, http://www.parts-express.com In NYC dbm is the place. In Minn. http://www.tangible-technology.com

You could try getting in touch with Marshall.

FWIW, the quality of a potentiometer can vary wildly. One would expect a high end audio amp to use a high quality pot.
FWIW #2... It IS possible to center drill the busted off shaft and 'graft' a pice of dowel rod or a screw into the pot with epoxy, all without damaging the electrical quality of the pot itself. I've done that many times. Then you just get a knob, stick it on, and turn that sucker up to 11.

or you could do as Blackmore use to do (and may still) bypass the pot.

I have a buddy who knows everything about guitar amps and I have him check out the schematic for you.

While you're at it, get one that goes to 11.

An MG series Marshall is solid state. Chances are, getting at the pot will be a lot more trouble than changing it.
