they were like $2 apeice at an army navy store. But these bandanas bleed their colors like crazy. I've soaked them and squeezed them out many many times and the water still takes on a heavy color tint each time. Is there any way to make them safe for wearing and washing in terms of the dye? Sincerlely, Banda-no.

Bleach them white and recolor. The key factor is 'cheap'. So solly...

Salt helps set the dye. Don't be cheap with the salt either, think OMG heart attack salt...like sea water or better.
Trust me, I'm pre-med*.

I second vinegar, or salt water.
