FWIW, Ivan Reitman was the director of Ghostbusters.

Ramis directed Groundhog Day (among other films)

Ramis was IN Ghostbusters, and (without checking) I believe he was also involved in its writing.

Regardless of what he wrote, directed, or starred in, what a huge loss for the comedy community.

I love watching him play the straight-man to Bill Murray in Ghostbusters and Stripes. R.I.P.

As well as starring in them, he and Dan Akroyd were the primary writers for all three of the Ghostbusters movies. I think he produced III as well.

I'm sorry Dr. Venkman, I'm terrified beyond the capacity for rational thought.

RIP Mr. Ramis.

By the way, IMDB shows writing credits for Caddyshack (and director), Animal House, Armed and Dangerous (and producer), Year One (and director and producer), Analyze This (and director), Analyze That (and director), Meatballs, Groundhog Day (and director and producer) and Stripes among others.
