I usually do well in Geoguesser, often getting with in a few meters - unless I get dropped in the outback or remote region in Russia. Then you can literally go for 20-30 miles and find no clue.

being able to recognize an alphabet is a big help.

Oy, don't get me started on that game again, or I'll be up until 2am playing...
I'm OK at it.. unless I get dropped in Asia. I have trouble differentiating many of the written languages, and can't read the street signs at all!
