Note: I voted for who I think it will be, not who I want it to be, unfortunately.

I went with an uneducated gut choice.. I'm an NCAA fan, haven't been following the NFL this season (perhaps because I live near Tampa Bay and the Bucs are second to the local high school teams in talent - and will screw up their #1 draft pick by taking a QB who will flame out)

I voted for the Hawks to beat the Packers because I really want Green Bay to win, but if I had picked them, they would have lost, so I am really the perfect reverse barometer!

You have to be creative.

Pete Carroll coached the USC Trojans, my default college football program since birth. We won championships, so that a lot of joy I got from that.

Marshawn Lynch is from Oakland, where I live and went to Cal Berkeley, which is near me.

Aaron Rogers is from Chico, California and I went to Cal State Chico + he went to Cal Berkeley (which is near me).

Tom Brady is from San Mateo, CA, which is near me. He also played for Michigan, which is in the Big 10, which has(d) a historical affiliation with the Pac 10 which meant they met in the Rose Bowl, which is played near where I was born in Los Angeles.

Andrew Luck played for Stanford, which is near me.

Based on all of that information, I have to choose the Seahawks to root for (which means theres a good chance they will lose cuz that how my universe has been working for me lately). I simply derived more joy from Pete Carroll from USC's National Championships than any other sporting event outside of Lakers Championships.

Go Seattle Seahawks!
