What's happening with Apple Updates?
#1
I had alert yesterday that there were new updates for Number, Pages & Keynote. So I updated them. This morning I get the same alert. When I go to App Store updates, I see this.

I'm updating them again now. Just wondering what went wrong.

After posting this I went back to the App Store and see this.

I know it didn't have time to download them again (I'm on a pretty slow connection).

Before my Numbers said version 3.6 and now it says 3.6.1.

I'm confused.

I don't know what causes this, but I have seen other reports of it in Apple Discussions. There is a lot wrong with the App Store. I get as little as possible from there. Stuck with it for iDevice apps, though.

The App store is severely borked right now. Honestly, I hope Apple drops the system. It doesn't work for most traditional Mac developers (a lot of apps that I have bought over the years have either never been offered in the app store or have been pulled) and it really isn't proving to be particularly consumer friendly right now either.

the App store app didn't update the screen after the download - a bug. I saw that once too.

Hmmm, App Store has worked for me. I think. Numbers though, keeps quitting when Ii try to open a file under Open Recent... My wish is that Apple will really focus on making ALL their software Just Work™.

There's numerous failures right now, I'm not sure what applies to what, but people are even seeing versions of apps in review getting pushed to customer's and leaving them without a working version, there's the apps refusing to launch, there's just a whole bunch of crazy right now:

Seriously, at this point, if your Mac App store downloads are still working, don't touch anything right now.

Apple is doomed.
Apple is beleaguered.

I'm sort of starting to think it's true.
