[brace for amazing photography] New bird at the feeder
#1
After a long time of hoardes of sparrows, one dove, and a pair of cardinals, finally saw something new in the yard today. I'm 99.9% sure on an ID but thought I'd give y'all a chance to show your impressive knowledge of birds. I'm in Chicago...

A hint-- I noticed it because of the contrast between light underside and darker everything else, and small orange beak (two traits not common to the usual sparrows.)

Don't know what others are seeing, but the resolution on my screen is so poor that I can't even be sure where the bird stops and the ground starts.
Do you have any better images?

I would try a search on one of the recent monitor threads. At this point there is no excuse for not going full IPS.
