I did for a while after my doctor looked at me and said "Why aren't you ? Everybody should !". Then I started bruising. So I stopped. My own fault... I take a ton of Advil for my shoulder.

Yes. 81 mg daily.

Yes, my doctor is a big believer in it. Two-year supply is $5 at Costco.

My husband does. One baby aspirin a day. But he is a heart patient so no surprise there. I have yet to take the time to research whether a woman who has passed an ekg and stress test with flying colors needs to bother with it.

Yes. But not because my doc suggested it.

Same here. Because the doctor believes it. I'm not really sure, just obedient ... for now.

Low dose daily aspirin, 81mg, has several proven effects, including a 30% reduction in risk of developing colon cancer as well as a likely decrease in prostate cancer. It is indicated without a doubt in people with heart disease. For otherwise healthy people, benefit is probably greater than the risk, which is mainly bleeding, but if you have bleeding issues like frequent bloody noses or bruising, should probably not take it.

Yes, 81mg a day. My mother's doctor suggested it, due to our family history.

Yes, 81mg daily, Dr ordered. Only NSAID I'm allowed to take, so if I take aspirin for pain or illness, I skip the daily pill.
