TurboTax Premier free through Fidelity
#1
I logged into my Fidelity account and on the right side of the opening page it offered TurboTax Premier for free. Premier is the step-up from Deluxe. The Fidelity page says it's the online version but when I followed the link to Turbotax, I clicked on "Products and Pricing" and then to the left there was a link to "View CD/Download Products" and that showed a download Premier with 1 state for free. I clicked "Buy Now" and got the download for free. I didn't have to give them any sort of credit card or bank information.

The terms and conditions said the download version includes 5 free federal efiles but that state efiles cost something--didn't say how much. I don't efile anything so that's not a problem for me.

Free is pretty good!

I logged on and the best I could find was $20 off.

The offer was good for Fidelity customers and visitors, as well.

Even with $20 off, still cheaper to get it from Amazon (and maybe costco). if you can get it free, go for it!

I'm a Fidelity customer and I got it to work, but it did feel like I was a rat running thru a maze to find the cheese. Didn't need it since I'd already bought H&R Block's tax cut, but it's free so why not?

It's on the right side of the main page - over the current market stuff.

I needed to reset my Intuit password, but the rest was easy - once you select products and download.

Saved $90. Thanks to the OP.

I don't see that offer. I have 2 529 accounts and that fidelity Visa card. I have my other stocks at Vanguard.

The free TurboTax offer is not available to many Fidelity account holders, based on discussion on other forums. Apparently if you have a Fidelity Advisor, trade frequently or have a 7 figure balance - they you're eligible for the free TurboTax.
