Any recommendations on sub $100 or even better sub $50 bluetooth Headphones that sound at least as good as Apple wired phones? I don't think that is a really high mark is it? I just bought some $30 Anker Bluetooth (instead of buying Wired Apples) and they sound, "crispy" is the best I can come up with?

LG Tone INFINIM HBS-912
They list for around $80, but can be found for MUCH less if you shop around. I love these things...

I've been disappointed with pretty much every bluetooth speaker or headphones I've encountered. Last year I bought a highly rated set of bluetooth speakers with a built-in subwoofer. Sound is good... when it actually works. It's less than 10 feet away from my computer, and the sound gets choppy way too often. Got a pair of bluetooth headphones... normally cost around $100, but I paid a lot less. Sound is pretty awful.
Everything is going wireless these days, at the expense of quality sound. I guess a lot of people are more concerned with convenience than quality. I recently bought a network receiver and some wired speakers. The speakers were cheaper than most wireless ones, and the sound never hiccups. And the sound quality is great. I've had my eyes on some wired headphones that are really nice: AKC K240's. Great sound, super comfortable. Retails for $69. Guitar Center had them for $55 last month, but I missed that sale by a day. I figure they'll go on sale again around the holidays.

I have a few sets of BT headphones. Cheap and expensive ones.
My favorites are $25 Mpow Swift earbuds. They fit very well and the sound isolation is very good. Unfortunately, the audio quality isn't suitable for listening to music. Great for podcasts, tho. And I mostly listen to podcasts while exercising so they get a lot of use. I highly recommend them for workouts where the highest audio quality doesn't matter all that much.
The best audio quality (still missing highs and lows vs my best wired buds, but acceptable) is from my BeatsX buds. But the beats are made from thin, cheap-looking plastic and the little "wings" that are supposed to hold them in my ears aren't adjustable and only worked to hold the buds in my ears for maybe a week before they failed. Worse, the cord between the ear-pieces is very long and heavy and bounces and pulls them out of my ears when I jog. So, the expensive headset looks and feels like junk and is useless for the purpose that I bought them for, but the audio quality is good and it's not bad at all if I'm sitting perfectly still. I recommend these for long naps.
Best compromise turns out to be my (nearly) full-size JBL J56 BT headset. It's too heavy to wear during a workout, but it stays on when I'm puttering around the house and the audio is very good. Sound isolation is way better than the BeatsX so it often sounds better than the BeatsX just because the Beats won't stay in my ears.

My wife also wanted wireless earbuds and she went thru two fairly expensive pairs before I bought her eat AirPods. If I were you I'd save a bit longer and go straight for the good stuff.
