How old was Hugh? Decades ago, I was a member of the Playboy Club. Over the years, I visited Playboy Clubs in NY, Boston, Denver, Montreal and I think Baltimore. They made a GREAT Zombie and, the Business Man's Lunch was always excellent. Each month, members could pick up a free copy of Playboy or Oui magazine. :oldfogey:

They really ought to make a movie of his life - a metaphor for the rise and fall of print, among other things.

Hefner's Playboy magazine made growing up in the 60's and 70's a hard thing to do.
(of course I just read the articles)

Uncle Wig wrote: Did he steal your girlfriend or what? What a harsh epitaph. You do realize ka jowct is a woman, right? As such, I'm sure many women feel the same about him.

....RIP.....he did change the world/society.......
...Epitaph: the sad thing is at the end, sorry to say, he started to look a bit 'sad' I mean he had all these woman, young women, but they all used him for his 'status' and money...... .....towards the end of a life, it is sad not to have someone by your side....a real someone who has seen you through thick and thin and knows who you are [ you at your best and your worst ]......sure it is 'fun' to have fun with woman half your age but at some point doesn't it get old.....???
