I've got the week off ( there are things that suck about working for a school, the time off isn't one of them!).

My list includes;
Laundry
Intensive kitchen cleaning.
More shopping for some culinary projects than is sane for this week.
Making hot mustard and canning it.
Get a couple pork loins in a brine to make smoked loin bacon NEXT weekend.
Get three gallons of locally pressed cider into a fermenter (spur of the moment idea... where the hell did I put my brewing yeast? And is it any good still?)
I've got four pieces of pork loin hanging in my office drying making Lonzino (basically prosciutto using loin rather than leg).
I've got a gallon of hot peppers, and vegetables, fermenting to make hot sauce (probably another few weeks before it's ready)
I've also got a gallon of dollar store white wine (ponder THAT a moment, lol) in a jug making vinegar... (also a few weeks out, or never... ).

Oh, yeah, and that whole turkey and masked potatoes thing on thursday...
And, cleaning, cleaning, cleaning, between projects...

Fixing broken stuff. Hopefully clearing out the garage... hell, maybe I will just set all the crap on fire. And I'm certain mrs. cbelt3 will be in full Santa Claus mode, which means the attic will be emptied into the house and the house decorated as if Santa Claus had thrown up all over the place.

For the first time in years we're not hosting. My daughter in law will cook her first turkey. It will be great for my wife. For me, I'll be washing dishes either way. Happily!
