video game gun violence warping barely-formed minds.

“I’m hearing more and more people say the level of violence on video games is really shaping young people’s thoughts. And then you go the further step, and that’s the movies. You see these movies, and they’re so violent, and yet a kid is able to see the movie if sex isn’t involved, but killing is involved, and maybe they have to put a rating system for that.”

Here's Who Trump Has Invited to the White House to Discuss Violence in Video Games

Trump loves to claim other countries are laughing at us because of one policy or another that he wants to hand grenade without thinking too much about it.

I don't think they're laughing at us, but I've got to believe folks in other countries must shake their heads and roll their eyes at the way our "leaders" tie themselves into knots to find alternate explanations for gun death in the US.

It's not video games, or TV, or movies, or kids these days, or moral failings, all of which are no different here than in other western countries with much lower gun death rates.

It's the guns.

BTW, here's another one from the same article:

It's the guns. (or, if you wish, I.T.G.P.)

Who knows? They're playing the same games in Europe and Japan. Everybody is just people.
