Serious question for avid followers of professional men's soccer/futbol regarding flopping
#1
I have shot pics of World Cup qualifier and MLS soccer. When I try to watch soccer, I can't watch for very long. I am not a fan of all the flopping I see going on. I believe it takes away from the enjoyment of watching the game. How do you avid soccer watchers deal with the flopping?

Seems immature. Do they get penalized at all for flopping?

How about “No, I watch no matter what.”

I enjoy soccer, and I do not appreciate when they "flop". But I still enjoy it, unlike American Football where injuries are much worse, the game flow is interrupted more often.

LeBron's exploits are well known. I am trying to see what avid soccer fans have to say about the amount of flopping in the men's game.

As a hockey fan, I truly do not understand the fascination with soccer/football.

I am trying to have an understanding about soccer flopping. The players in the above gif were roundly mocked and criticized for their flopping. Players in the NFL face scorn from analysts, players, and fans for flopping. This does not appear to be the case in soccer. Why is that?

And: Why do soccer fans, avid and otherwise, put up with flopping?

Officials could be much more aggressive in carding.
