(Bump) Mission Impossible: Fallout (No spoilers)

A perfect storm of a movie experience.

Great theater. Plush seating. Great sound and video. Food brought to your seat (Chicken nachos for two. Ten bucks)

Perfectly delightful crowd.

And one hell of a movie.

I said it earlier, I’ll say it now. Cruise is the current king of action movies for me.

But...

I’m left with a wet(works) dream.

Hunt: This one is special. I’m not sure even we can get our hands around it without help.
Luther: I’m on it.

Luther: Bobby. Luther.
McCall: Luther. It’s good to hear from you, but you know...
Luther: Yeah. I know. You’re out of that world. Only rescuing cats in trees.
McCall: Close enough.
Luther: Well, these are good people, this needs to be done, and we need you to do it. You’re in.
McCall: I am, am I?
Luther: You are.
McCall: Alright. I guess I’m in...

Much better experience three weeks in when there's no one else in the theater. LOL

Great theater.

AMC?

Indeed.

My preference.

Even without the plush seats, chicken nachos, and serving wench massaging my feet, it was great movie.

We enjoyed it.

No Scientology made it into the movie.

Does Cruise still do his own stunts? Some crazy action stuff in this.

For anybody curious about Cruise doing his own stunts, try these links.

Skip a bit of spoilage and go to 1:35

Then go here.

These YouTube videos will give one an idea of what he does in a movie. I dislike spoilers a lot. The first link would have been a bit of a spoiler just prior to 1:35 but I didn't see it until after the movie. It sets up the second link, though, and that didn't spoil anything for me.

This link is for anybody who's seen the movie already or who doesn't care about spoilers. The first two articles are the money.

Cruise is money.

Did I mention I'm waiting for Top Gun: Maverick ?

Studio Movie Grill. Very impressed. Beyond the basic movie theater experience, the food was tasty (if just a tad pricey) and the service reasonably prompt and non-disruptive.

That’s what I hear. Spent more than a year learning to fly a helicopter as part of his prep for this one.

SMG is cool. For all you theater haters -- look at the s p a c e between those seats.

Ticket prices are identical to local theater (or less) and food is a touch spendy, but nothing worse than hitting any other chain before you came in (chillis, applebees, etc)
