NFL Week 4 talk (spoilers)

The Browns surprise me this week. Thank goodness for the Lions as they allow the Cowboys to get away with a win.

All-World Seahawks safety Earl Thomas, who held out for better contract in summer, suffers serious injury. Flips off his own sideline while being carted off the field. Final nail in LOB coffin.

Pats were supposedly playing a tough 3-0 team today.

Not only did he not show for camp but also practices. He stated that making sure he didn't get hurt was fair since teams toss aside hurt players. This will have a negative impact on the team. Not only is he an excellent safety, he was also a veteran presence. Others agree with him but just don't say it. This could affect the locker room and coaching aspects of Coach Gum Chewer's regime.

Yeah, it's going to be interesting. Winning will quickly solve the problem. But the way they're playing, it's going to be a struggle every week. Lots of young players though hungry to make an impression, so we'll see how it goes. Being a Seahawks fan means following team drama as much as wins and losses.

Some reports indicate that the LOB resent not getting the payout they feel they deserved for that Super Bowl win while Russell Wilson got a huge contract. This is why I laughed when bandwagon Seahawks fans kept telling me they were going to the SB year in and year out. It is obvious they had been football watchers for a short time. Players get hurt, paid, paid less than they feel they deserve. Things happen, which is all the more reason why throwing that SB against the Pats still haunts them.

Browns were robbed! But they're still tied in the cellar with the Steelers.
