I hope the guns are okay.

Someone's child is dead. So heartbreaking. This about much more than guns; I don't know when this American cultural phenomenon of school shootings will end but it can't end soon enough.

I hope both of my kids can make it through high school without getting shot. Our country has this peculiar affliction with enabling schoolchildren killers.

Meanwhile, there are still plenty of morons convinced, for example, that a militia laying in wait just beyond the front doors will ensure no one armed tries to even set foot in a school. Problem solved. Yeah.

Yeah this is two in a couple weeks, maybe 3 in 3? It had been a little while since the previous one/s. Or so it seemed. SMH. Go NRA @sshats.

One shooter is a FEMALE. Adult Male and a juvenile female!

RIP to the child that was killed and comfort to the sorrowing parents. I had not heard there was a death. School is a deadly place to be.

Both shooters identify as male. One is a transgender male, currently in the transition process.

"Kendrick," she [Nui Giasolli, one of the trapped students] said, "lunged at him and tried to subdue him. As soon as he said, 'Don't you move,' Kendrick lunged, giving us all enough time to hide under our desks, and the shooter ended up shooting Kendrick."

Giasolli also thanked students Brendan Bialy, Jackson Gregory, and Lucas Albertoni for charging the attacker, giving students the opportunity to escape.

Kendrick Castillo, 18. Killed saving his fellow students.
