3 hours is a bit much. But as I understand it ABC did better than the previous, by not overtly pitting them against one other for "gotcha" moments (i.e. "good" TV).

We have more than a year to go. If we had one or two Dems left, everyone would have their mind made up by Thanksgiving and forget to vote the following November.

The idea is you spar hard with your friends before you go fight the real bout. Democrats sometimes get a bit nervous that their leaders might actually commit murder-suicide on stage, but that risk has been shown to be overblown...

Trumplicans are busy making their party a Soviet Style One Candidate party.

The longer the Trumplicans have to try to damage or straight up murder (*) a strong Democratic party frontrunner, the worse the election could be. And you can 100% expect Trump to order every single agency under his control to screw with / arrest / destroy the Democratic party front runner. It's obvious he is running on the 100% dicatator playbook.
