More evidence that he perjured himself at the hearings.

In the incident with Ramirez in college, Kavanaugh allegedly pulled his pants down during a dormitory party and forced his penis at her, prompting her touch it while pushing him away. Others at the party laughed. But the incident was traumatizing for Ramirez.
...Asked about this during confirmation hearings, Kavanaugh said Ramirez’s allegations were untrue. “None of the witnesses in the room support that. If that had happened, that would have been the talk of campus in our freshman dorm,” Kavanaugh had said.
According to the Times, “Our reporting suggests it was.”
As to the other incident, which was previously unreported, the newspaper says that also during freshman year at Yale, a classmate, Max Stier, “saw Mr. Kavanaugh with his pants down at a different drunken dorm party, where friends pushed his penis into the hand of a female student.”
Stier reported the incident to both senators and the FBI during Kavanaugh’s vetting process for the Supreme Court—and nothing happened.
...Ramirez’s allegations also went nowhere with the FBI, despite a list of 25 (!) possible corroborating witnesses.
...All of this is in addition to the very credible allegations by a third woman, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, who said Kavanaugh sexually attacked her while the two were in high school.
Of course, if he was impeached then he could be be brought to trial.

Either the FBI was ill-equipped for such an investigation, or simply told not to try very hard.
"Sen. Christopher A. Coons (D-Del.) wrote to the FBI director that “several individuals” wanted to share information but had had “difficulty reaching anyone who will collect their information.”

Quick show of hands:
Anyone who doesn't think that the confirmation hearings for Brett Kavanaugh were a sham dog and pony show?
Thanks.
The same body won't impeach him, so maybe the focus should be on the impact of his behavior.
I fear that efforts to hold Kavanaugh personally accountable are misguided at this point. He is functionally invulnerable. There's still plenty of work to do to improve conditions on law school campuses for women, though, and make it easier to report and achieve justice following harassment, abuse, or assault.

The current Senate won't convict him, but there is no statute of limitations or double jeopardy on impeachment.
January 21st, 2021 is only 16 months away, and with any luck, Trump won't be doing the nomination for his replacement and McConnell won't be Senate Majority Leader.

Yeah, if by some fluke he does get the boot, we don't want it to be too soon.

Kavanaugh is useful again, for allowing Democrats to not fixate on Trump. Susan Collins (because of her vote for him) joins the list of targets. This will all help.
No they don’t have to impeach him anytime soon, but they could possibly later, and in the meantime he’ll be discredited even more.

They got nothing. Pres. Clinton easily survived after Paula Jones although it and other things related to the randy president probably pushed Sec. Clinton into retirement.
