Ahhh... new year, new ipad
#1
I had ten minutes at home yesterday, so I unboxed the new iPad 6 and signed it into iCloud. When I got up this morning, it had pretty much cloned itself from my last backup, which is neat. So far, it’s been a joy to use... fast with new features that I like. I hope I get better at clicking with two fingers to open a new tab.

Now that I’m using a modern iOS, is there anything out there that I should hurry up and download? Any other new features I might miss? I was using iOS 10.

Happy new year ... I’m enjoying my new start! I’m still bringing the old iPad to the Apple store tomorrow as they say they can fix it. The only thing I don’t think I have backed up is my Notes that are saved only on the old iPad. I think it crashes when I try to copy them or share them. Ugh.

Thank you! I know my mom will enjoy it and I can include her. I really don’t watch TV but why not!

Clicking with two fingers works on my old iPad as well, but I know the new one has a lot more features that I’ll enjoy. One thing I’d like to do is open a set of new tabs that I always want to start with each morning - I click each one in a new tab, but I’d love to have all 7 open for me at the click of a button.

iPad Leader!

Don’t close the tabs, reload them in the morning. Or quit Safari and it should reopen the tabs when you restart it.

I leave all kinds of stuff I’m working on, or reading, open. What I want is fresh tabs for those sites when I’m starting a new "session". For instance, on this forum, I might leave a thread or two open, but not the original forum page...
