Joni Ernst starting to look vulnerable

The poll found the senator’s approval falling from 57 percent in February, 2019 to 47 percent.

Just more than four in 10 likely voters -- 41 percent -- said they would definitely back her reelection, while 31 percent would definitely vote for someone else and 20 percent could consider voting for someone else.

Her potential opponents don’t have much name recognition, but perhaps the bloom is coming off this rose in Iowa. I wouldn’t be surprised if the farmers are starting to tire of the Trump schtick.

Joni looks like a winner at one point but then she started licking boots of the MAGA clan. I hope she loses.

All contested Senate races are a big deal - and because of Trump, it's an extra big big deal this year. Ernst losing could be one of the pickups the Democrats need to gain control of the Senate. I also hope she loses, though, for her swimming in a particularly icky part of the Republican swamp.
