Who stayed home, who went out?

Saturday night. Sometime this afternoon I decided I was going to stay home. Usually i go out to the gym and then have supper in northampton, maybe a drink at the Tunnel Bar. But I have been cleaning up my bachelor abode and just kept going thru supper, trying to see how many horizontal surfaces I could bring to light.
Once in a while that's okay. It's cheaper to drink at home anyway.

I didn't go anywhere all day, kind of unusual for me. We finally decorated this evening.

For us, hex-mas party season has begun in earnest.
We had two parties to attend this evening (one a boring corporate affair, but heap plenty good food; the other a more tiki-themed evening of heavy drinking). Both were fun in their own way, but I definitely (hic!) preferred the latter. Tomorrow we have the ex-mass party for our little computer store at Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede. Imagine my delight, he said sneeringly.

Stayed in and watched the latest Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Have to say the film was not as good as the first...(writing seemed lacking in this one)...sound was all over the place, too. DVD rental from Netflix.

Started putting up the tree this afternoon, then went to a friend's party, just got back.
