Scummy ebay seller
#1
Bought a toner cartridge on eBay, listed as "New" and "sealed".

It arrived in an opened, retaped box, with the plastic bag inside opened and toner all over the place. I submitted a return, the seller took it, and now is accusing me of swapping out the cartridge he sent! He's contesting the return! And ebay is "investigating" it.

I'm so ticked off I could spit!

Fortunately, I took pictures. Hopefully that will convince ebay.....

In this century, "unboxing" videos are a must.
Good luck.

Taking pictures or video is a very good idea these days.

completely unnecessary. Unless you have a history of scummy returns (and a history of sellers complaining about you as a buyer) you will win this contest. The investigation won't last long (except that all CS centers are on a skeleton staff).

And let's not forget that ANYTHING can be faked in pictures. Even I have the required photoshop expertise (and that aint much).

Leave negative feedback for the seller to keep the eBay community aware.

SHHHHHHHH!!! I find that a lot of people don't know this yet. I also get buyers worried that I will leave negative feedback for them :-)
