Discussed here before, and I know there's some grey market DVDs available, but WKRP IN CINCINNATI is finally coming to DVD.
The news is not all stellar, however; some of the series' music will be replaced -- and it's said that the producers of the DVD did their best to match the style of the music with something contemporary to the show's airing and that it fit the scene.
Personally, I can think of maybe half a dozen instances where the music was really key to the scene. One in particular, when Les was getting ready for a big date -- with Jennifer, I think -- and he was getting dressed to Foreigner's "Hot Blooded". (I seem to remember EWF's "After the Love has Gone" and the song "Tiny Dancer" (the Soviet defector episode) being key as well...)
