MIL was using her MBA, I think it is a 2013 or 2014 model.
It worked perfectly all this time.
Now it's just dead. does not start. It seems to take charge, I see the Orange Light on the MagSafe 2, but no sound, nothing when you press the power button.
I will search hot to reset SMC later on. any other ideas?

This thing is really dead. she has a Time Machine she did o Dec 2, but that is at her apartment in Romania.
I am thinking to get us a M1 machine and pass along out 2017 MBA to her, but I need to figure out how to get her data back once she is back home at her place in January. Or maybe I can pull the SSD from her machine and put into an external case? first I need to figure out if this is 2013 or 2014 model and see if tour sponsor sells enclosures for those SSDs.
