Lots of icing rain in Kentucky tonight. Section through the middle of the state could see half an inch or more of ice forming, which means trees and power lines down just in time for single digit overnight temperatures over the weekend.

We had boiler problems which brought our living room to 50º a couple of weeks ago. That was with outside temperatures in the 30's; hate to think what happens inside of houses with no power when it is near zero outside.

10:00 PM PST, just got back from a nice 2 mile walk thru the hood.

52º and not a cloud in the sky. =)
