Pricing used tires & wheels?

I've got a set of 17" tires and wheels from my previous car that I need to sell. I can sell them either as a set, or the wheels by themselves (the tires will fit on my new car.)

I've googled a bunch to try and find used ones without much luck. They probably only have 10k miles on them, no scratches and in good shape overall. How do I figure out how much they're worth?

I bought used wheels sans tires for $100 for my old '92.

Good point. I should mention what these are. They are Motegi MR4, 17", 5x100, gun metal wheels with the chrome spline nuts and end caps.

I found two places selling 17" Motegi MR4 for about $160 each. Used wheels sell for anywhere from 40% to 80% of list depending on how popular they are. If they fit your Subaru, you might do best to advertise them on a Subaru forum.

These particular wheels have two 5 hole patterns in them. I've read elsewhere they fit just about everything with five bolts. I've been finding them for $120-160 new, not sure about shipping.

Maybe I'll throw them on craigslist for $400 for the wheels, local pickup, and see if I get any takers.

Yeah, I search ebay some. I found one set that seemed to go really cheap. Not sure why. Everywhere else I've found them used (via googling) they've been going for more.

You might have to sell them for less than you'd like.
