1Password 6 no longer working with Chrome - time to upgrade to 7?
#1
I'm still running 1Password 6 because I'm a cheapskate and haven't had reason to upgrade. Well, the browser plugin has stopped working with Chrome. Anyone else seeing this?

Might be time for me to suck it up and pay a subscription fee.

I was a cheapskate too, but I bit the bullet a year or two ago and subscribed to the family plan. It's too important to me to mess around, and securely sharing documents and passwords is nice.

I had to as well. They'll give you 50% off for 3 years.

Unfortunately Citibank doesn't work well with firefox. Maybe I should try to get safari working with 1Password.

7 is the end of the line for me.

I won't do a subscription.

I think I can keep 7 going for awhile as I try various alternatives.

Or maybe it's time to switch to Safari and Keychain Utility.

You can upgrade to 7 and purchase it.

V7 is soon to replaced with 8 though.

Safari is dead to me since I am running old hardware (and thus old MacOS) and can't get any security updates.

I just did a full Catalina reinstall and just found it won’t install either. But swear my old iMac with Catalina still runs it fine. I need to reboot it and see.

I’m all FF — and the browser pull down is a key part of my daily workflow.

1pw 7/8 have moved to a gaint bloated useless drop down menu.

You can upgrade… but if you use it like I do, prepare to be dissapointed.

Going to ride 1pw6 for as long as I can… but once it stops will have to look at other apps.

In the same boat. Using 1PW6 under Mojave on a 2017 iMac.

What are other password apps to consider?
