Uh oh! I figured out how to make dump cobblers.

Dump 2 regular cans of peaches in pan.
Sprinkle and cover with box of yellow cake mix.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.
Slice a stick of butter into pats and spread of the top.
Cook at 350 F for about and hour.
Let cool some before eating.
Excellent with vanilla ice cream.

Sounds really good.

But I think it would be wise to have a defibrillator handy!

My son learned that from his mother years ago, wherever she got the recipe it was called dump cake. Can use a can of apple or cherry pie filling instead, don't need to add sugar.

That's recipe is so easy, it's dangerous.

It's sounds awfully rich, but yes, cutting it with a container of vanilla ice is just the thing!

I’m going looking for low carb or sugar free stuff including cherries and apples. I might have adjust the seasonings some.

That was the only cobbler my mother would make. She hated baking.

Kinda ironic considering she grew up in the family bakery (though I guess it also makes it quite understandable)

I still contend that pumpkin pie (or sweet potato) counts as a serving of vegetables.
