New Mac Studio has landed
#1
I got the base Mac Studio with the M1 Max, with a10 core CPU and 24 core GPU. It has 32GB of memory and a 512GB SSD. I also got a new 27 inch Dell monitor that connects via the USB-C port.

The Studio is about the size of 2 and 1/2 Mac mini's stacked on each other. It has a fan, but it is whisper quiet.

All I can say about the M1 Max chip is that it is fast. Everything opens instantly. New Macs in the past might have been "snappy", but this computer is leaps beyond that.

I have a 1 TB OWC drive and a 256 GB SanDISK SSD attached as well.

Additionally, I bought a Macally Bluetooth keyboard and mouse as my Logitech counter parts no longer were working with the latest and greatest Mac OS. For the price, its a nice combo.

Leader! My personal preference is to never buy the base graphics, but that is a steep climb in price. Note: I have not yet see a benchmark that fully utilizes the 64 core version, so the top model is currently a waste of money.
