I can recommend The Killing. A great murder mystery from back in 2014.

Watched it Friday night, based on the buzz and an 86% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Kept waiting for it to get past the slow burn and kick in but it never does. Kind of a less competent John Wick. At least they didn't kill his dog.
